The Yamaha C3 is widely considered one of the most successful and celebrated 6'1" (186 cm) professional grand pianos in modern history. Introduced in 1967 alongside Yamaha's landmark CF concert grand, it serves as the cornerstone of the Conservatory (C) Series.

Handcrafted in Hamamatsu, Japan, the C3 is the global industry standard for recording studios, music conservatories, professors, and advanced players who require a high-performance instrument

• • Length: 6 feet 1 inch (186 cm)
  • Width: 59 inches (149 cm)
  • Weight: Approximately 704 lbs (320 kg)
  • Action: 88 keys with a light-to-medium, incredibly fast touch response.
  • Pedals: 3 standard pedals (Soft, Sostenuto, and Damper).

• The "Sweet Spot" Size: At 6'1", the C3 escapes the acoustic limitations of smaller "baby grand" pianos. Its longer bass strings and larger soundboard deliver a deep, thunderous bass, clear midrange, and rich projection that can easily fill a home or recital space.
• Tonal Character: It is famous for its crisp, bright, and highly transparent attack, making it highly favored for pop, jazz, and studio recording where note definition needs to cut through a mix.
• Exceptional Engineering & Stability: It features a robust V-pro frame, advanced duplex scaling (which adds harmonic richness to the treble), and superb tuning stability.
