The Yamaha U300 is a premium, professional-grade 131 cm (52-inch) upright piano that was manufactured exclusively in Japan between 1994 and 1996. It belongs to the legendary U-series family and serves as an upgraded, modernized variant of the iconic Yamaha U3. Because it was only produced during a brief three-year window, it is a relatively rare and highly sought-after model in the used and reconditioned piano market

• Origin & Build Quality: Every U300 was built at Yamaha’s premier Hamamatsu Factory in Japan, ensuring top-tier acoustic craftsmanship and high-quality seasoned wood parts.
• Dimensions: Standing at 131 cm tall, it shares the exact height and cabinet scale of a standard U3, housing long bass strings and a large solid spruce soundboard for a rich, deep, grand-like tone.
• Design Upgrades: Compared to older standard U3 models from the 1970s and 80s, the U300 features a sleek, modernized cabinet design, an advanced action mechanism for a more responsive touch, and an integrated soft-close fallboard (keyboard lid) to prevent slamming.
• Silent Variants: Some models left the factory as the U300S (Silent Piano), featuring Yamaha's early internal silent system that allows players to mute the strings and practice with headphones.
